Please Keep Your Restricted Tech Profiles Current
Hello sunshine,
Hope everyone is having a fantastic week! I wanted to share a quick tip that'll help keep your operations running smoothly and your technicians happy.
It's time for a friendly reminder to review and update your restricted tech profiles in the system. I've been noticing some outdated information lately, and trust me, nothing slows down a project like trying to reach a technician at an old phone number or having a wrong address!
Here's what you should double-check for each of your restricted techs:
Phone Numbers Make sure you have their current primary and backup contact numbers. Life happens, carriers change, and phones get upgraded, so those contacts from six months ago might not work anymore.
Addresses Verify their home base service areas. Techs move, and some have expanded their coverage zones or relocated entirely. Having accurate address info helps with dispatch planning and ensures we're sending work orders to the right regions.
Skills & Certifications This one's huge! Update their skill sets, especially any new certifications they've earned or specializations they've added. Maybe your fiber optic installer just got their electrical license, or your POS expert learned digital signage. Keeping skills current means better job matching and happier techs who get work that fits their expertise.
Pro tip: Set a monthly reminder to spot-check a handful of profiles. It only takes a few minutes, but it saves hours of headaches down the road when we need to dispatch quickly.
Your techs work hard to keep their skills sharp and stay reachable. Let's make sure our system reflects that dedication!

Technician Quiz Reminder
These tests are not mandatory, but some of our new and current clients are requesting verification of knowledge and skillsets. We'll be using the test results to update your skillsets and assign work orders for these clients. The tests can be taken over, and over, and over again. So, why not pass them and be eligible to receive more tickets?
